Alhambra Theatre’s 4th Friday Film Series

Films begin at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the restoration of the Alhambra Theater.
Bring chairs, snacks, family, and friends.

About Alhambra Theatre
With the help of Stewart Sebree of Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana, Alhambra Theatre, Inc. recently received a $15,000 grant from the Efroymson Fund of the Central Indiana Community Foundation for exterior renovations to the theatre.
The Alhambra Theatre was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is one of Evansville’s last remaining neighborhood movie theatres. The mission of Alhambra Theatre Inc. is to restore and preserve the Alhambra Theatre as a facility for culturally diverse, multi-purpose community usage.

Penny Lane Art Gallery presents: "Byproduct" an art show by the artist SPiT showing through August 31 at Penny Lane Coffeehouse, located at Second and Mulberry in the Historic Arts District. Opening reception at Penny Lane Coffeehouse from 7 - 9 pm on Saturday, August 2, with music by DJ "White Lando" Followed by Fiddle and Banjo Duet.
Saturday, August 2 from 5 pm - 10 pm, First Saturday Art Market and Farmers Market, on Second St. next to Penny Lane Coffeehouse - featuring local artists and vegetables and fruit from our local community farmers. Artists include Nick Folz, Kelly Gilbert, Jean Ann Kizer, Jeslyn Horstketter, Clinton Bosler, Jodie Mowrey, and Heidi Krause.
